When we do something kind for our loved ones, it always feels good to be thanked and appreciated. Receiving a thank you note or even just hearing someone say “thank you” or that they appreciate you means so much and feels so good.
However, doing something for those who can’t express gratitude verbally is a different story. It is often a more meaningful and adorable story! We are, of course, referring to our pets.
When we give our undying affection to our furry friends, they show their thanks in any way they can. It can be anything from a wagging tail to late night cuddling on the couch.
Our pets are the masters of nonverbal affection!
Jack, a horse with special needs, had an injured foot, so his owner delicately and fully bandaged him up. When he finished getting bandaged, it’s more than clear that Jack was beyond thankful and full of joy that his first instinct resulted in something so funny.
The sweet equine only knew of one way to thank him properly. He immediately turned to his owner to completely cover him in kisses!
The owner basked in the love of his pet horse, who remained unaware of how funny the public display of affection may be. Meanwhile, the woman recording the encounter was laughing hysterically in the background.
Not only was this reaction so adorable but it is absolutely hilarious! We are so happy she managed to capture the moment for us all to enjoy!
Most of us with pets know the feeling of being thanked and loved by our pets. However, few occurrences compare to a shower of horse kisses from an adorable special needs horse! Jack’s way of showing affection certainly beats any others we have seen.
