Another Clinton has a problem with integrity and conducting oneself in a non-criminal manner.
Wikileaks tweeted on January 8 that, “Leaked Podesta emails confirm @ChelseaClinton diverted over $3.1 million of #HaitianRelief funds via #ClintonFoundation to pay for her extravagant 2010 wedding. Was this money ever returned to Haiti? And if not, then why? #ClintonCorruption @USEmbassyHaiti.”

The news is the latest in a series on ‘internal Clinton camp’ feuding over who will take the fall for misappropriated donations. After a trip to Haiti five weeks after the earthquake, Chelsea was supposedly left disillusioned by the rosy scenario painted by her Secretary of State mother, regarding all the good the Clinton’s were doing in the devastated Caribbean nation.
In 2016, amid the leaked John Podesta emails put out by Wikileaks, was one (among many) between Podesta and aide to Bill Clinton, Doug Band, in which Band appears a bit incensed over Chelsea Clinton’s public statements made in late 2011 that she had told one of the ‘Bush 43 kids’ she was conducting an internal investigation into the movement of money from the Clinton Global Initiative to the Clinton Foundation.
The Washington Examiner reports that Chelsea’s announcement left Band a bit incensed.
On January 4, 2012 Band emailed Podesta (and CC’d it to Hillary aide Cheryl Mills) to state that, having learned ‘from the best’, he was wise to what Chelsea was up to and that he was prepared to spill the beans on her if she went too far with setting Band up as a possible fall guy.
“The investigation into her getting paid for campaigning, using foundation resources for her wedding and life for a decade, taxes on money from her parents…
“I hope that you will speak to her and end this,” Band wrote. He then warned:
“Once we go down this road…”
Ferret-like Podesta replied, “You are perfecting your skills for understatement.”
Band’s contention that the apple that is Chelsea did not fall far from the Clinton tree was affirmed in another Podesta email showing that Chelsea called, on behalf of her husband Marc Mezvinsky, potential political investors of her parents to “set up meetings” in order to throw business in Mezvinsky’s direction, reported Politico.
According to the news site, Mezvinsky “was working with two partners to raise capital to launch a hedge fund of their own called Eaglevale Partners. The word among rich Clinton backers on Wall Street was that the family would look favorably on investments in Eaglevale, a major Manhattan investor told POLITICO.”
So, who are we to believe regarding money ripped from the needy hands of Haitians? Another Clinton or Wikileaks? My money is on the latter.
